Architectural Glass Solutions just completed the 6 story Midtown Tower building on the Northwest corner of LBJ Frwy and Preston Rd. in Dallas.
The project required removal of the existing window film that was 20 years old and deteriated. We used a removal process that lowered the amount of scraping we had to do so therefore preventing scratching of the glass and keeping the glass in its original state for a smooth installation process.
The project was expected to take 8 weeks and we were able to complete in 5 weeks.
Product: Solar Bronze 20 manufactured by Madico. Product reflects 80% of the heat, 99.9% of the UV, and 80% of the glare. Warranted by Madico for 10-years covering 100% of labor and material.
It is a 100% metallized product that creates a “polarized” view out, highlighting the blues and greens of the landscape. Giving the tenants a perfect view out while having privacy from the film preventing seeing into their offices while working! A “one-way” effect!
