Interior view of 20% solar film
Residential home in Frisco, Tx.  Interior view out of installed 20% solar film to existing glass.
Home owner contacted Architectural Glass Solutions for a need in help reducing heat and UV exposure from the sun but was worried about distorting / blocking the view of their pool.
Solution: 100% metallized 20% Solar film – 70% heat rejection and 99.9% UV rejection. Lifetime warranty for labor and material
Home owner was delighted to find out that solar film actually highlights the colors of the landscape, while reducing the glare to allow one’s eyes to focus.
Solar film works more like polarized glasses for the view.  Unlike window tinting, solar film contains do dye’s and therefore doesn’t dull or distort view.  Solar films are typically either 100% metallized or Ceramic coated.
Adding solar film to windows is like upgrading your glass to a factory-coated (tinted) glass but at a fraction of the cost.
When it comes to solar energy reduction, solar film is the answer vs. window treatements.  Any window treatment installed indoors can not reflect heat back thru thermal pane windows.  Window treatments are not made for that purpose.
Architectural Glass Solutions is both a window film company and a window blind company, both products provide 2 different functions and work perfectly together.
